Octomore 2002 Futures Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 46% ABV

This ongoing series from Bruichladdich is the most heavily peated whisky in the world. Named after James Brown's farm that is situated above Port Charlotte, this Brobdingnagian whisky deftly lives up to its description as, "The iron fist in the velvet glove".

The original Futures release, this was distilled on the 16th October 2002 and bottled in April 2008. Matured for 5 years exclusively in Buffalo Trace bourbon casks and peated to 80.5ppm.
