Octomore 02.1 5 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 62.5% ABV

This ongoing series from Bruichladdich is the most heavily peated whisky in the world. Named after James Brown's farm that is situated above Port Charlotte, this Brobdingnagian whisky deftly lives up to its description as, "The iron fist in the velvet glove".

The Octomore 1 didn't hold the crown for peatiest on the planet for long. Octomore 2 is even peatier at 140ppm.
