Daftmill is a family farm distillery in the Scottish Lowlands. It was founded by the brothers Francis and Ian Cuthbert in 2005, when they turned the farm’s old mill buildings into a distillery. This 11-year-old Daftmill single malt was made in collaboration with the French independent bottler La Maison Du Whisky. They chose cask 028/2009, a first-fill Oloroso Sherry butt, for the whisky to mature in. It was distilled on the 8th of July 2009 and released in 2020. Only 649 bottles were released.
