Bunnahabhain 2008 Manzanilla Casks 11 Year Old Single Malt Whisky 70cl, 52.3% ABV

This unique release from Bunnahabhain oversees the marriage of coastal-infused flavours, with every drop of the liquid matured in former Manzanilla sherry casks back in July 2008. After a full 11 years, the outturn was just 9429 bottles - all arriving at a natural casks strength of 52.3% ABV, and all free from chill-filtration and added colouring. 

The nose is sweet with salted caramel, honeyed cashew nuts, creamy berries and rich oak. The palate has a sweet maltiness and toffee flavour, alongside figs and dried fruit which continue in the finish with a burst of more caramel.
