Glen Moray 10 Year Old Fired Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 70cl, 40% ABV

Craftsmen at Glen Moray were determined to uncover new dimensions in the whisky's character, leading them to contemplate the effects of charring casks more deeply on the whisky's interaction with the wood and its flavor. After conducting experiments, they aged the whisky in American oak casks to develop light, vanilla tones before finishing it in heavily-charred virgin oak casks. The result? After 4 to 6 months, the classic flavors of their single malt were elevated to a new level, revealing an intensely sweet and spicy whisky with notes of toasty oak.
